Back in late 2012 (it blows my mind that it was ten years ago) I started the effort of making sure I had brewed at least one beer in every category of the BJCP Style Guidelines.
See SheppyBrew Styles. You can also follow the progress on Sheppy's Blog: BJCP Goal
I made it through all the categories, and shortly after I did, the BJCP made a fairly major update, which meant there were new categories to hit.
I know I knocked out most of the categories, but I'm not 100% sure I hit them all. I think I did, but I may have missed one or two. (EDIT ... after going through the list, I see now that there are 3 that I missed. I'm going to have to work on fixing that)
Regardless, we now have another new version of the guidelines. BJCP 2021 Style Guidelines. The 2021 version isn't as much as a total overhaul that 2015 was, so I think I've probably hit as many of the categories as I had before.
But, I thought I'd take some time to take inventory on BJCP Styles that I have and have not brewed ...
1. STANDARD AMERICAN BEER
1A. American Light Lager (Jethro Bud Nelson Merican Lite Lager)
1B. American Lager (Mr. Awesome Merican Lager)
1C. Cream Ale (Gringo Cerveza Popcorn Ale)
1D. American Wheat Beer (Summer Lovin' American Wheat)
2.INTERNATIONAL LAGER
2A. International Pale Lager (Sin Lima Mexican Lager)
2B. International Amber Lager (Ulterior Motive Amber Lager)
2C. International Dark Lager ...
As far as I remember, I have not brewed something I called an "International Dark Lager", and I think I probably should.
3. CZECH LAGER
3A. Czech Pale Lager
I have not brewed anything that I've specifically tried to fit in this category. I wouldn't be surprised if some of my "International Pale Lager" could fit here, but I want to make a recipe specifically designed to fit here.
3B. Czech Premium Pale Lager (Ello Poppet Czech Pilsner)
3C. Czech Amber Lager
I have not brewed this style, but I would like to.
3D. Czech Dark Lager (Scallywag Czech Dark Lager)
4. PALE MALTY EUROPEAN LAGER
4A. Munich Helles (Snowball's Chance (in) Helles)
4B. Festbier (Decemberfest Lager)
4C. Helles Bock (Helles in a Hand Bock-sket)
5. PALE BITTER EUROPEAN BEER
5A. German Leichtbier
I've never brewed one, but I really want to.
5B. Kölsch (Bad Lands Kölsch)
5C. German Helles Exportbier (What the Helles Dortmunder)
5D. German Pils (Schreck Gartenzwerg Pilsner)
6. AMBER MALTY EUROPEAN LAGER
6A. Märzen (Rocktoberfest Lager)
6B. Rauchbier
I'm tempted to give myself credit for X-Mas Ale 2013, which was a smoked beer. However it really isn't to style. I'm honestly not overly excited about brewing this style. Maybe someday, but not soon.
6C. Dunkles Bock (Mardi Bock)
7. AMBER BITTER EUROPEAN BEER
7A. Vienna Lager (Colorado Vienna Lager)
7B. Altbier (Sasquatch Hunter German Altbier)
8. DARK EUROPEAN LAGER
8A. Munich Dunkel (Cubs Win! Munich Dunkel)
8B. Schwarzbier (Khazad-dûm Black Lager)
9. STRONG EUROPEAN BEER
9A. Doppelbock (Brother Bear Dopplebock)
9B. Eisbock
I have not brewed one, and if I'm honest I don't really have the desire to concentrate a beer by freezing and removing the ice.
9C. Baltic Porter
This is a beer that I'm interested in brewing some day.
10. GERMAN WHEAT BEER
10A. Weissbier
Surprisingly, I have not brewed an official (German) Weissbier. I feel like this is one I'll have to do at least once.
10B. Dunkles Weissbier (Weizened Doonkle)
10C. Weizenbock
Another one I'll have to put on the to-brew list.
11. BRITISH BITTER
11A. Ordinary Bitter (On Your Left)
Note ... the American hops in this beer might disqualify it from the style, so at some point I should probably brew a more traditional (British) Ordinary Bitter.
11B. Best Bitter (Dudocs Best Bitter)
11C. Strong Bitter (Gnasty the Gnome ESB)
12. PALE COMMONWEALTH BEER
12A. British Golden Ale (Tortuga Golden Ale)
12B. Australian Sparkling Ale (Colorado Pelican Australian Sparkling Ale)
12C. English IPA
I really thought I had brewed an English IPA, but I'm not finding one. I suppose I'll have to brew one next year.
13. BROWN BRITISH BEER
13A. Dark Mild (Sloth Man English Mild)
13B. British Brown Ale (Lithuanian Autumn Ale)
NOTE: Lithuanian Autumn Ale goes in this Style mostly because I couldn't think of a better fit. At some point, I'd like to brew a British Brown Ale with more traditional English yeast.
13C. English Porter (Jolly Morlock Brown Porter)
14. SCOTTISH ALE
14A. Scottish Light
I've never brewed a beer I called a "Scottish Light". Another one I should try to do next year.
14B. Scottish Heavy (Mor'du Scottish Ale)
14C. Scottish Export
Yep, this one too.
15.IRISH BEER
15A. Irish Red Ale (McShepardSons Irish Ale)
15B. Irish Stout (Cinco de Bealtaine Irish Stout)
15C. Irish Extra Stout
Another style I've never brewed. Another one I'll have to rectify.
16. DARK BRITISH BEER
I brewed Gnaughty Gnome English Coffee Stout, which has the words "English" and "Stout" right in the name, but it doesn't really fit in any of these styles. I guess I'll have to pick one of these styles soonish.
16A. Sweet Stout
Stouticus American Stout is probably the closest to this style, but I'm using that in the American Stout section.
16B. Oatmeal Stout
I've never brewed an Oatmeal Stout. This is likely the first beer in this category that I'm brewing.
16C. Tropical Stout
Someday
16D. Foreign Extra Stout
Someday
17. STRONG BRITISH ALE
Another category that I've completely missed. I called it out in 2015 Style Guidelines, so at one point I intended to get this taken care of, but I guess I forgot. Another high priority category.
17A. British Strong Ale
I'm not really even sure what this style is. More investigation required.
17B. Old Ale
I'm not really even sure what this style is. More investigation required.
17C. Wee Heavy
Probably the most accessible style in this group, and probably the one I'll brew first.
17D. English Barley Wine
I honestly thought I had brewed an English Barley Wine. But, it doesn't look like I have.
18. PALE AMERICAN ALE
18A. Blonde Ale (Laser Salt Sandy Blonde Ale)
18B. American Pale Ale (Muggled Pale Ale)
19. AMBER AND BROWN AMERICAN BEER
19A. American Amber Ale (Eric's Red Ale)
19B. California Common (Bridge Fog California Common)
19C. American Brown Ale (Imaginary Dragon Brown Ale)
20. AMERICAN PORTER AND STOUT
20A. American Porter
Another style that I'm surprised to not find a recipe that I've brewed.
20B. American Stout (Stouticus American Stout)
20C. Imperial Stout (Tweedle Beetle Imperial Stout)

Specialty IPA: Rye IPA (Fox Sox Knox Rye Pale Ale)
Specialty IPA: White IPA

Specialty IPA: Brut IPA

21C. Hazy IPA
Have not really brewed a fully Hazy IPA. I'm not sure I want to.
22. STRONG AMERICAN ALE
22A. Double IPA (Irregular Eric Double IPA)
22B. American Strong Ale (Pompously Illegitimate Red Ale)
22C. American Barleywine (Schnockered to Comfortably Numb Barleywine)
22D. Wheatwine
Another one I'll brew "someday".
23. EUROPEAN SOUR ALE
23A. Berliner Weisse (Gruntled Sour Weiße)
23B. Flanders Red Ale (Rationalité Poison d'Ereeeek)
23C. Oud Bruin
Never have. Not sure I ever will.

Maybe someday
23G. Gose
Maybe someday
24. BELGIAN ALE
24A. Witbier (Whisky Wife Wit)
24B. Belgian Pale Ale (Buckwheat's Belgium Pale Ale)
24C. Bière de Garde
I'd like to brew one next year.
25. STRONG BELGIAN ALE
25A. Belgian Blond Ale
I don't think I've brewed a Belgium Blond.
25B. Saison (Hail Storm Summer Saison)
25C. Belgian Golden Strong Ale (NSFW Belgium Golden Strong Ale)
26. MONASTIC ALE
26A. Belgian Single
Another one I'd really like to brew. This will probably be my first one in this category.
26B. Belgian Dubbel
Another one I'd really like to brew.
26C. Belgian Tripel
Someday after I knock off some of the other styles I'm missing.
