O is for Odyssey Beerwerks

It's been awhile since we posted N is for 4 Noses - Park Hill.

We've just been doing other things, and have not had an opportunity to head out to another brewery.

This past Saturday, though, the SheppyBrew Beer Model (aka my wife) decided it was about time to hit our next A to Z Brewery.

Since we did "N" last time, now it was time to find an "O" brewery.

According to the Colorado Brewery Map & List, we had a few to choose from, and the Beer Model picked out ....

From their website:
Odyssey Beerwerks was formed to do the impossible – take that enjoyable hobby of creating fine craft beer and make it a business. Bringing new and exciting hand crafted beers onto our vibrant planet, and at the same time enjoying and appreciating all you folks we meet along the way, is a damn fine way to "work."

They have a nice little tap room located at 5535 W. 56th Ave, Ste 107 Arvada, CO 80002, which would have been a fun bike ride for me, but not in Saturday's weather.

And, the Beer Model wouldn't consider that a bike-able distance regardless.

So ... Happy Wife Happy Life ... we drove up to Arvada with a packed lunch.

We started with a couple of flights. Their flights are 6 beers each, and conveniently there were 12 beers we wanted to try between the two of us.

Most of them were really good. There were a couple that I liked and the Beer Model didn't care for. There were a couple that the Beer Model really liked, but I didn't care for.

The beers were all well-made and seemed to follow what the brewers were going for, but preference is subjective, and it would be boring if they only made beers that everyone liked.

Even though we bought a lunch, there does appear to be pretty decent food truck coverage on their calendar.

It is certainly worth the visit if you find yourself in Arvada and want a beer and/or food truck food.

And now ... up next we need an "P" brewery. According to The Colorado Brewery Map & List, "P" has a few choices of local breweries we have not visited yet.

Again, I'll probably let The Beer Model (aka my wife) pick which one we go to.

Stay tuned on Sheppy's Blog: A to Z to find out what she chooses.
