Yoker Belgian Tripel

Style: Belgian Tripel
Brewer: SheppyBrew
ABV: 8.5%
IBU: 24
SRM: 5 (golden brilliance)

Appearance 👀

Pours radiant gold with a creamy white head that rises like a crown and lingers like a stat line. The body is crystal clear, shimmering with hints of straw and sunlight. Tiny bubbles race upward like fast breaks, promising energy and finesse.

Aroma 👃

Aromas of pear, white pepper, and clove swirl with subtle floral hops and a whisper of honeyed malt. The yeast esters are expressive—spicy, fruity, and regal. It smells like a monastery garden in spring… or a locker room after a win.

Flavor 👅

Bright and complex. Notes of golden apple, citrus zest, and coriander dance atop a dry malt backbone. The alcohol warmth is smooth and stealthy—like a no-look pass. Belgian yeast delivers a triple play of fruit, spice, and subtle funk, finishing crisp and clean with just a flicker of bitterness.

Mouthfeel 🫦

Medium-bodied with lively carbonation that lifts the flavors and keeps the palate refreshed. It’s effervescent and elegant, like champagne with a jump shot. The warmth builds gently, never overpowering—just enough to remind you this beer has game.

Overall Impression 💭

Yoker Belgian Tripel is a precision brew—refined, expressive, and deceptively strong. It’s a celebration of balance: fruity but dry, spicy but smooth, bold but drinkable. Whether you’re watching highlights or contemplating abbey architecture, this Tripel delivers a triple-double of flavor, finesse, and finish.

The Legend of Yoker Belgian Tripel 📜

In the vaulted halls of the SheppyBrew monastery—where brewing gnomes wear jerseys under their robes and chant box scores in Latin—there arose a challenge: craft a beer worthy of the MVP of Mile High.

The gnomes consulted ancient brewing scrolls and modern stat sheets. They rolled the sacred 20-sided die and landed on 26C: Belgian Tripel. Inspired by the quiet dominance of Nikola Jokić, they brewed a golden ale with subtle power and sublime complexity.

They named it Yoker, a nod to the Joker himself, whose triple-doubles echo the Tripel’s holy trinity: malt, hops, and yeast. The beer was fermented with reverence, dry-hopped with restraint, and blessed with sugar to elevate its strength.

Its tap handle features a mitre atop a basketball, flanked by laurels and a stat line etched in gold. They say if you sip it while watching a Nuggets game and whisper “Triple. Double. Tripel.” three times, you’ll feel the presence of the brewing MVP.
