SheppyBrew 2025 Year End Brewing Stats

Here it is, 2026 already. It is crazy how fast the year flew by.

If you follow along on this blog at all, you probably know that after each quarter, I "report" my SheppyBrew Brewing Stats.

And, now it is time for me to report on the SheppyBrew 2025 Year End Brewing Stats.

So ... in the 4th quarter of 2025, I brewed 5 batches of beer:

This puts me exactly where I was last year. I brewed 19 batches of beer for 95 gallons for the year. Another year at less than 100 gallons of beer.

Gnomeberry Hollow Cherry Porter

My wife (aka the SheppyBrew Beer Model) did brew with me 3 whole times this year, making it legal to have brewed over 100 gallons. I guess we wasted those efforts again.

Oh well.

Of the 5 batches of beer I brewed this quarter, 4 of them (GnomeberryX-Mas AleYoker, and Skadoosh) were new recipes. This puts me at 15 new recipes in 2025, which is quite a few. In 2024, I brewed only 7.

Tafel Mystère Belgian Single

GnomeberryX-Mas Ale, and Yoker were also Roll-a-Style beers. If I'm counting correctly, I've now brewed 90 of the 108 BCJP Styles.

I'm down to only 13 beers on my Roll-a-Style list. I'll be rolling a 12 sided die soon.

X-Mas Ale 2025

I didn't brew any lagers in Q4, so I ended 2025 with 5 lagers. This is about average I think. Last year I brewed 5 as well.

All these 4th quarter batches were "all grain" and all but the Yoker Belgian Tripel were done in my Anvil Foundry.

I'm thinking about making 2026 a year of lagers. I guess we'll see how that goes. Regardless, I don't think I'll hit the Roll-a-Style list quite so hard next year.

Stay tuned on this blog, and you'll see how I do.

Skadoosh Blond Ale

I can't think of what else to say, so I'll close this report now.

And ... as always ... stay tuned on the regular SheppyBrew Channels to see what is happening with beer, barbeque, biking and other things in my life: SheppyBrew's Facebook PageSheppy's Twitter FeedSheppyBrew's Instagram Page; and SheppyBrew's Website.
