It is almost June and I still have not posted the 1st quarter results of the SheppyBrew Brewery.
Well ... I guess it is time to fix that.
As you may know, the Brewery likes to post quarterly updates on how much we have brewed. You can see all these updates (including the one you are reading right now) by following this link:http://blog.ericshepard.com/search/label/Brew%20Stats .

Arctic Vortex Winter Saison |
She Who Must Be Obeyed Wheat |
Last year, I brewed 4 batches for 20 gallons in the 1st quarter and ended up with 95 gallons at the end of the year.
Ello Poppet Czech Pilsner |
Last year Q1 I brewed 2 new recipes and ended the year with 11. I'm off that pace, but I have plenty of time to catch up.
Helles in a Hand Bock-sket |
Two of these are lager beers (Ello Poppet Czech Pilsner and Helles in a Hand Bock-sket).
Last year I brewed 3 lagers in Q1 and ended up with a record-breaking 7 lagers. It looks like I'm on pace to tie that lager record this year.
Spring Forward Hoppy Wheat |
Q2 is obviously underway. I've brewed 3 beers this quarter and will brew another this weekend. I expect I'll end up with 5 batches of beer this quarter too.
Nothing real significant to say about any future beers. I am planning on brewing a coffee beer this weekend, which will be my first beer that uses actual coffee.
I expect mostly low alcohol beers going into the summer, but I certainly won't rule out any moderate or higher strength beers going forward.
You'll just have to see what comes.
