T is for The Post Chicken & Beer (Rosedale)

We're still working through Round 6 of the A to Z Series of posts.

If you've been following the blog, you know we hit S is for Second Dawn Brewing Company just a couple of days ago.

And ... of course that means it was time to pick a "T" brewery.

According to the Colorado Brewery Map & List, we did have a couple of "T" breweries to pick from.

Honestly, though one of the breweries on the list is one I really don't like. And a few others I was considering were a little farther than I wanted to travel.

I ended up picking a restaurant close to our house that isn't technically a brewery ....

The Post Rosedale doesn't actually brew beer at the location we went to, but they do serve beers brewed at their main location.

So, I'm going to say this counts.

From their website:
"In 1967, our building began its legacy in Denver's restaurant scene as a Mr. Steak. Since 2017, The Post has been standing strong in the vibrant Rosedale neighborhood that has the unique vibe of straddling city, neighborhood, and college life for the nearby University of Denver.

We brew delicious, award-winning beers and fry up the crispiest, juiciest hot chicken around. We serve it with our kitchen’s take on vegetarian and seafood dishes, fresh salads, farm fresh and innovative sides - classics remade for modern times and tastes.

Whether you’re sitting in our house, your house, the backyard or the back of the truck, we make the traditional, uncommonly memorable."

We went there for dinner last Saturday. The wife (aka the SheppyBrew Beer Model) had Chicken and Waffles.

I had a chicken sandwich.

The food is great here.

We had a flight of 4 beers to sample a few of what they had, and each also had a pint of beer.

The beers were good.

This is a nice place. If you go, it is small enough and popular enough that I would suggest making reservation.

Anyway, now that we've hit out "T" "brewery" we are looking to check off "U". I think my wife has one she would like to visit, but you'll have to wait to find out what that is.

As always keep watching the regular SheppyBrew Channels to see what is happening with my BBQBeerBikingSheppyBrew's Facebook PageSheppy's Twitter FeedSheppyBrew's Instagram Page; and SheppyBrew's Website.Of course, don't forget to visit this blog often as well!
