Q is For Brad's Pit BBQ

If you follow along on this blog, you probably know about the A to Z Series of posts, and that we are quite a ways through "Round 6".

In case you don't know ... back in February of 2015, I was embarrassed by the number of Denver Breweries that I had never visited.

I decided to make an effort to hit more of them.

As I started to look at the list, it struck me that I could go down the list alphabetically and find Denver-area breweries that started with just about every letter.

So, I did. And ... we've gone through 5 whole rounds. Now we're on our 6th time through the alphabet.

"Q" is a tough letter. One that we've had to take "artistic license" on the "breweries" we picked.

This time, I didn't really pick a brewery at all ...

Q is For Brad's Pitt BBQ

Brad's Pit BBQ is a catering / food truck type business that "is an optimum choice for Weddings, Graduation Parties, Sports Events, Family Gatherings, Holiday Celebrations, or just for a scrumptious dinner. Voted 2018’s Best BBQ in Colorado by Money Magazine!". 

They do have a physical location right next to "L is for Locavore Beer Works". 

It is a great food-option for Locavore, which doesn't serve its own food. They have a partnership where Locavore has Brad's Pit QR codes at each Locavore table.

Patrons can order online and have food delivered right to their table. It is almost like Locavore is a brew-pub without them having to worry about food preparation and all the head-aches associated with serving food.

So, the only place I've ever had Brad's Pit BBQ is at Locavore.

Last Friday, before a DU Hockey game, the SheppyBrew Beer Model (aka my wife) stopped by Locavore for some drinks and some BBQ.

I had a brisket sandwich and potato salad. The Beer Model had a cheese burger with waffle fries. 

The food was great. The beer was wonderful.

The DU Hockey game didn't turn out how we wanted, but was still pretty fun for the most part.

If you're interested in Pick Up, Delivery, are Catering from Brad's Pit. Check out their website. Otherwise, Locavore is a great way to get their food.

And ... of course after "Q" comes "R". We've already posted R is for Resolute Brewing Company Centennial Brewery, so we're on "S".

According to the Colorado Brewery Map & List, we have a couple of "S" options. We even tried to visit one of them on New Year's Day, but it turned out the brewery we picked was closed for the holiday.

I'm not sure if we'll end up there or if we'll pick a different "S" brewery. Stay tuned on Sheppy's Blog: A to Z and you'll find out shortly after we do.
