Y is for Ye Olde 121 Public House

Well ... the SheppyBrew Beer Model (aka my wife) and I are winding down on Round 6 of our A to Z series of posts.

A couple of weeks ago, we posted X is for MaX Taps Colorado, which means we're up to "Y", meaning we only have one more letter to finish up this round of brewery visits.

There are certainly a bunch more Denver-area breweries to visit on the Colorado Brewery Map & List, but there are quire a few letters in the alphabet that will be difficult to fill.

So, I'm not sure there will be a Round 7. We might have to figure some other way to pick new breweries to visit.

Anyway, we still have the letter "Y" of this round to get to....

Y is for Ye Olde 121 Public House

In January of 2023, we actually used this place as O is for Old 121 Brewhouse, but conveniently for this little project, Old 212 opened a second location (in the same spot G is for Great Frontier Brewing used to be).

When they opened the new location, they started calling the "old" location Ye Olde 121 Public House.

So ... we decided to consider this a "new" brewery for the purposes of our list. Saturday we picked up some food and then went to Ye Olde 121 Public House for our lunch.

Both spots share some beers and each have a few of their own. 

Of course we started with a couple of flights. I really liked the beers I picked out, and wasn't quite as impressed with the flight that the Beer Model picked.

She felt the same about her beers, and wasn't as fond of mine. We each had a pint to finish our food with.

After leaving Ye Olde 121 Public House, we stopped by the new Old 121 location, and tried a couple more beers.

Again, very nice.

Both locations are great. I'm glad a brewery was able to move in to the G is for Great Frontier Brewing location.

And, now ... there is only one letter left. I'm not seeing any obvious local "Z" breweries on Colorado Brewery Map & List, so we'll have to be creative again.
