Best of all, on the 2nd Saturday of every month, they open up quite a few of the cockpits. The kids love this. Why wouldn't they? It is really really cool.
We headed over there last month and had a great time.
And yes ... that is an x-wing fighter with a replica R2-D2 sitting in it.
Even cooler (for the parents anyway) ... right next door is the Lowry Beer Garden.
The Beer Garden has pretty good pub-type food along with lots and lots of bottled and draft craft beers. We had lunch there after visiting the Air and Space Museum. It was very fun.

Check it out.
I'm a little jealous of your kids lol. I've only been in the cockpit of major planes, 737, 747, etc. And even then it's been YEARS!!! Maybe close to 20... geez I'm getting old lol anyway, Cheers!ReplyDelete
Well, if you ever visit the Denver area around the 2nd Saturday in the month, you should check out these. I assume you would be stopping by the Beer Garden afterward too.ReplyDelete
Pshh, beer garden? Pass :pDelete
Well, maybe a quick stop...
