Finished #GCCUSA2025

If you follow this blog or any of my socials, you know that I finished up the 2025 Great Cycle Challenge at the end of September.

During the month, I logged 49 outdoor rides along with 1 indoor one for a total of 1,210 miles. On those rides, I climbed a total of 52,769 vertical feet.

More importantly, I raised $3,384 for cancer research, thanks to all my generous sponsors. 

Another successful GCC!

As you can probably imagine, all that riding helped on my 2025 riding goals.

1. #MetricCenturyEveryMonth
   I did 6 Metric Centuries in September (at least I did 6 days of at least 100km). This is the 50th straight month that I've been able to finish at least one 100km ride. July of 2021 was the last month I did not finish a metric century.
   
   
2. #8200MilesIn2025
   As of the end of September, I have logged over 6,722 miles in 2025. I'm now ahead of the goal by 590 miles.
   
   
3. #16EverestsIn2025
   16 x 29,032 = 464,512 feet. At the end of  September I have logged over 365,000 feet climbed (over 12 Everests). This puts me ahead of the goal by over 17,681 feet. 
   
   
4. Triple Bypass Ride
   CHECK ✅
   If you read this blog, you probably know that I did the 2025 Triple Bypass Ride in July. I even did it slightly faster than last year.
   
   
5. #GCCUSA
   CHECK ✅
   As I mentioned, I surpassed both my mileage and fundraising goals.
