G is for Great Divide Brewing Company

It blows my mind that it is 2024 already. 2023 just flew by for me.

Crazy!

Since we made the decision to continue the A to Z Breweries Series of Posts into the 5th round, it has been basically 5 months.

We posted A is for AC Golden Tank Room in August, and F is for Fiction Beer Company Chapter Two a couple weeks ago.

That's 6 breweries in 5 months. Not a bad pace.

Now, it is time to post our 7th brewery of the round. We needed a "G" brewery.

According to the Colorado Brewery Map & List, we actually had lots of "G" choices. One jumped out at me as the next one I wanted to visit:

G is for Great Divide Brewing Company

 

Even though I thought this would be a nice bike ride, my wife (aka the SheppyBrew Beer Model), thought it was too cold to ride.

Oh well. We packed up a picnic lunch and drove down to Denver.

Great Divide Brewing Company is located in downtown Denver, not far from the Coors Field Ball Park.

Great Divide has a good selection of beers, and a ridiculous number of seltzers available.

We got a couple flights to start out.

I liked all the beers, although there was a Wild Raspberry Beer that I probably would not order again, just because I'm not a fan of raspberry beers.

It was a nice visit.

Now, we need to think about an "H" brewery. It looks like on the Colorado Brewery Map & List, we've already hit the local breweries that start with the letter H, but we do have a couple of choices without having to do too much "artistic license" on the brewery names.
