November 2013 Blogging

November had its page-view ups and downs but for the most part was pretty strong throughout. It did manage to beat October fairly easily.

The blog posts that got the most attention over the 30 days of November were:

#1 Fall Back ... Brew a Morlock Porter Nov 3, 2013 ... My brew-day posts don't take the #1 spot for a month very often. Not sure what is special about Jolly Morlock Brown Porter to make this post an exception.

#2 Brew Dogs in "Denver" Oct 23, 2013 ... Just talking a little bit about the Brew Dogs T.V. show and their episode in Denver. As this is a show that I enjoy, I am absolutely sure it will be cancelled soon. I do hope they come back for another season.

#3 Scary Beer Feminists!  Nov 1, 2013 ... My first post for "The Session" that I have done in quite awhile.

#4 August 2012 Blogging Sep 1, 2012 ... This one got quite a bit of traffic from Google Images because it has the ever famous Female vs. Male Brain picture on it. That post is still #1 all-time, but has not been getting much traffic over the past couple of months. More people seem to go to these monthly posts.

#5 Some Beer Motivation for a Friday Nov 15, 2013 ... Just one of those motivational posters posts I do from time to time. These do seem to do pretty well, so no surprise that this one made the list.

#6 All-Grain Version of the White House Honey Ale Nov 12, 2012 ... #8 all-time most viewed post on this blog. I really should make one of these Obama Beers sometime.

# 7 All-Grain Version of the White House Honey Porter Sep 14, 2012 ... Another of the all-grain recipes for Obama Beers. This one is #6 on the all-time list.

# 8 The Problem with Mr. Beer Mar 4, 2013 ... This has been pretty popular since I posted it. Just talking about my appreciation for Mr. Beer.

#9 Brewing Eric's Red Nov 20, 2013 ... Another of my Brew Day posts. It had been quite awhile since I brewed Eric's Irish Red, and it was about time to brew it again.

#10 October 2013 Blogging Nov 1, 2013 ... Last month's version of this post.

This is the 2nd month in a row that neither Female vs. Male Brain nor Don't read this pre- #GABF post was on the month's top 10. It is another month where lots of the top 10 were actually written in the month.

December has started out fairly slow, but the 1st was a Sunday, so I expect things will pick up at least until we get closer to the holidays.

I guess we'll see.

Go Blackhawks!
