2014 Q3 SheppyBrew Stats

Here it is already 10 days into the 4th quarter and SheppyBrew Brewery still has not posted its 3rd quarter brewing stats. Lame!

But, I am doing it now, so all is well. If you are ever interested in looking through all these reports, you can see all the quarterly updates (including the one you are reading right now) by following this link: http://blog.ericshepard.com/search/label/Brew%20Stats .

Quarters 1 and 2 were light brewing quarters. The 3rd quarter was not. I brewed 7 batches in the first half of the year and 6 in the 3rd quarter alone.

Sunny Pineapple
 The batches I brewed were:
This came to 31 gallons compared to 35 gallons in the first half of the year. Still, I'm only on pace for 88 gallons this year. Last year I got to 107 gallons. I don't think it is possible that I'll break the 100 gallon mark this year.

Mashing Laser Salt
This quarter, 5 of the 6 batches were brand new recipes, unlike the first 2 quarters where only 1 was a new recipe. This puts me at 6 new recipes in 2014 so far. I did 14 new recipes last year. There is very little chance I can get to that mark this year.

Hail Storm Summer Saison

I brewed no lagers this quarter, so T.RA.SH. Mexican Lager is still the only lager of 2014 so far.

All my batches were all-grain. Not sure why I still mention that as part of the stats. All my beers are now all-grain.

Near-Sighted Swine
All my batches were kegged except for the X-Mas Ale 2014. As you probably know, I hate bottling.

Brewing Will-o-Wisp

Take care everyone.
