May did not did not beat the page-view record on this blog, but it did beat April and was second all-time behind March. Some days in May the traffic was pretty strong, some days pathetically light. Colorado 6 pack gave the blog a much-needed boost at the end to make the month finish somewhat respectable.
And ... for your reading enjoyment ... here are the top 10 viewed posts over the past 30 days:
#1 ... Colorado 6 pack May 29, 2013 ... This collaboration blog post brought lots of traffic over the last few days of the month. Thanks again to @BryanDRoth for including me in his little project.
#2 ... Female vs. Male Brain Oct 28, 2011 .... Dropped to #2 for the month. Still #1 all-time.
#3 ... All-Grain Version of the White House Honey Ale Nov 12, 2012 ... Still not in the top 10 all-time, but has been getting strong attention for quite a few months now.
#4 ... Don't read this pre- #GABF post Oct 11, 2012 ... moved up to #5 all-time. Not sure why people keep reading this. I told you not to.
#5 ... My 500th Blog Post Feb 5, 2012 ... Always popular. It is still at #3 on the all-time page view list.
#6 ... Kind of a Big Deal May 3, 2013 ... Did I mention that my Sasquatch Hunter German Altbier won a blue ribbon in the National Homebrew Competition?
#7 ... All-Grain Version of the White House Honey Porter Sep 14, 2012 ... Also 7th all-time.
#8 ... Brewing for the Nationals May 5, 2013 ... Since I won in the regional round of the National Homebrew Competition, I had to brew Sasquatch Hunter German Altbier to go to Philly.
#9 ... Everybody gets a certificate May 20, 2013 ... Sharing the results of the other beers I entered into the National Homebrew Competition.
#10 ... Hurray for #HomeBrewing in Alabama May 8, 2013 ... All 50 states now have laws legalizing homebrewing. It is about time!
This was another strong showing for posts actually done in the month, which always makes me happy. As I mentioned above, some of the days were just pathetically light on page views this month. Colorado 6 pack may have saved the month, really. I will have to step up my game to bring in more traffic I guess.
Go Blackhawks!
