Anyway, just in case you are wondering ... the 10 most viewed posts in December were:
#1
Scary Beer Feminists! Nov 1, 2013 ... Last month's submission to "The Session." Talks about women and beer (what else?)
#2 Some Beer Motivation for a Friday Nov 15, 2013 ... Just one of those motivational posters posts I do from time to time. This is the second month in a row that this article made the top 10 list.
#3 The Problem with Mr. Beer Mar 4, 2013 ... This was also on the top 10 list last month. It has been pretty popular since I posted it. I talk about my appreciation for Mr. Beer, even if it is mostly nostalgic at this point.
#4 Still More @Untappd Badges 13 Nov 25, 2013 ... Just one of my typical posts where I share the untappd badges that I've earned. I think it is pretty rare that these articles make it to these monthly top 10s.
#5 Fall Back ... Brew a Morlock Porter Nov 3, 2013 ... Another one that also did well last month (#1 in fact). Just one of my typical brew-day posts for Jolly Morlock Brown Porter.
#6 ... A Brunette, a Read Head, and a Blonde Dec 20, 2013 ...Talking about the beers I currently had in the keg. "Brunette", Jolly Morlock Brown Porter. "Red Head", Eric's Irish Red Ale. "Blonde", Wetta Blonde Ale.
#7 ... BrewTrail.com Dec 14, 2013 ... A cool site I found out about from the Contact Me form on this blog.
#8 ... August 2012 Blogging Sep 1, 2012 ... The August of 2012 version of the very post you are reading right now. It has been getting lots of traffic lately from Google Images because it has the ever famous Female vs. Male Brain picture on it.
#9 ... Resurrecting the Wetta Blonde Dec 3, 2013 ... Another SheppyBrew Brew Day post. This one about Wetta Blonde, which I just converted to all-grain.
#10 ... I'm Awesome Dec 14, 2013 ... A couple videos from Spose, who is a rapper who amuses me. The videos do contain crude language, so don't watch them if you are sensitive to such things.
It is interesting that there seems to be a trend where very few of the top-10-all-time posts are making it to the monthly top 10s. This month, there were actually none of the old-time popular posts. I guess this is good. It means people are tending to look at more of my newer posts. Maybe.
I noticed that my sister has done a Top 13 Posts of 2013 for her blog. It would probably make sense for me to do that for this blog, but I don't have an easy way to get to that, and I'm lazy.
Anyway, it is now 2014. I have no idea what this year is to bring, but I hope everyone reading this has a Happy New Year.
Go BlackHawks!
