Shocking, I know. I feel like I've been stabbed in the back.
Apparently, for quite awhile she's been disappointed with the artistic and stylistic direction of the brewery and has decided to take matters into her own hands to shape the brewery more in line with her beer preferences.
She wants the brewery to brew more fruit and spice beers. In collaboration with Coors or Miller or Bud or some other large brewing company (exactly who is classified information that she has not shared with me), she is also planning on introducing more Merican Light Lagers.
And .. of course would like to introduce more Lime Beers.
As part of this change in direction, the Brewery will discontinue some of the flagship series such as Seasonal Saisons.
BJCP experiments will no longer be tolerated.
Dark tasting beers are a thing of the past.
And ... under no circumstances will the brewery brew anything resembling an I.P.A.
Effective immediately, The SheppyBrew Beer Model will take over all brewing operations, and I will no longer be allowed near the equipment.
I am allowed to drink the beer, but am ordered to keep my mouth shut about any input I might contribute.
For now, I will be allowed to ride my bike and barbeque, but that might be taken away from me at any time.
It is with great sadness that I step away from brewing.
I'm sure the Beer Model will be fantastic without me.
