On Saturday, we took our Paddle Boards out on Chatfield Lake.
We had an extremely dry winter, and as a result, Chatfield Lake is much lower than any previous SUP trip.
But ... it is a big lake, so there are still plenty of room to paddle around.
So ... we packed a lunch along with a few beers and headed out to the lake.
Here are some photos of the Beer Model and me out on the lake Saturday ...
It was a hot day, and even though we were there (fairly) early, the first spot we tried to park didn't have any spots.
The next parking lot had plenty of room, though.
Like always on hot summer days, there were a bunch of people out in personal water-craft.
Not really a bunch of people actually Standing on the Stand-up Paddle Boards, but lots of people out there.
A weirdly high number of people lying down on the boards.
We also saw a bunch of Colorado Pelicans, but I didn't get any good photos of them. Bummer.
We didn't go all that fast, and didn't get much exercise, but it was a nice day on the lake.
