May 2012 Blogging

It was May 2011 that this blog started its current trend of record-breaking "page views" every month. May 2012 continued the streak. I was pretty excited back in the blog post Record Breaking! Now that month's 1383 page views seems pathetically small.

May started out real active on the page views and slowed down a bit at the end, but it was still enough to carry.

This month, the majority of the most viewed pages are actually written this month. I suppose you would think this makes sense, but it is not usually the case.

Here are the top 10 most viewed pages over the last 30 days:

Female vs. Male Brain Oct 28, 2011 ... After a down month, this one came back strong. It is still the #2 all-time viewed page on this blog.

Women and Beer Jul 23, 2011 ... #1 all-time, and not really in much danger of being overtaken by #2. It is about women and beer. People like women. People like beer.

My 500th Blog Post Feb 5, 2012 ... Just like the title suggests, it was my 500th blog post. It is #4 on the all-time most viewed list. When I publish this post, I will be at 550 blog posts.

Brewing the Laser Salt May 6, 2012 ... The annual brew-day for my wife. This time we brewed a blonde ale with a fair amount of malted oats. We will be taking the keg camping this month.

Promiscuous drinker May 14, 2012 ... Talks about how slutty I am in my beer selection. Typical craft-beer drinker.

Laser Salt and the Beer Model Part 2 May 4, 2012 ... Preparing to brew with my wife (the Beer Model)

Breast Flashing Cider May 18, 2012 ... Drinking the last bottle of my simple cider. The cider will forever be associated with the Vancouver breast-flashing fan of 2011.

Weekend Sans Kids May 11, 2012 ... Letting you know what we did on a weekend with no kids.

SheppyQuest Lite May 26, 2012 ... Getting ready to go back-packing with my youngest son.

April 2012 Blogging May 1, 2012 ... April's counterpart to this blog post. I actually had it titled "April 2011 Blogging" until yesterday and no one called me on it. I wish people would leave comments. I'm actually pretty surprised that my sister didn't mention it.

So there you go.

  1. I didn't mention it because I don't read your blog stat posts...

  2. I figured you had read it since you left a comment about the content of the post. My mistake.
