My plan is to ride 1000 miles in September. Between now and then, I'll beg for people to donate money on my GCC Rider Page:
If you can afford it ... head over there and make a donation. I'd really appreciate the support. If you don't want to do it now ... don't worry ... I'll be reminding you at least once a month until at least the end of October.
I continued pursuing my #10Everestsin2021 goal over the month of February.
According to Alexa, Mt. Everest is 29,032 feet tall. If I climb 290,320 feet in 2021, I will have virtually climbed Mt. Everest 10 times.
Maybe it's lame. But, that kind of elevation gain is great cardio. A man a quarter of the way through life needs the extra motivation to stay in shape.
In February, I rode 348 miles, bringing me up to 747 miles so far in 2021.
More importantly for this #10Everestsin2021 goal I climbed 25,127 feet of elevation on my bike.
This brings me to 50,304 feet for 2021. As of the end of February, I've climbed the elevation of Mt. Everest 1.73 times.
Considering that I've ahead of schedule during winter months, the 2021 goal seems very do-able. Maybe even "easy". As long as my bike and I both stay healthy, it is very unlikely that I won't climb #10Everestsin2021.
I'll continue to keep you up informed.
For what it is worth ... I'm right on track for March as well.

Again ... I've signed up for the Great Cycle Challenge again this year. Just like last year, the event is going to be in September.
Feel free to donate on my page:

I'll be reminding you several times as we get closer to September.
