8th Everest of 2021

Well ... my Great Cycle Challenge continues. I've passed my 8th Everest of 2021.

As I type this, I've climbed a little over 234,346 feet of elevation on my bikes.

At this point, Strava says I'm 24,600 feet ahead of plan to hit my #10Everestsin2021 goal. By the end of this month, I wouldn't be surprised if I'm a whole Everest (29,032 feet) ahead of schedule.

And, of course, I'm continuing to raise money to help fight Childhood Cancer with the Great Cycle Challenge.

I'm also well ahead of the plan to ride 1000 miles in September. Between now and then, I'm continuing to beg for people to donate money. If you would like to help out with a donation, go to my GCC Rider Page ...

I've passed $2500 in donations and were able to get my GCC Hero Jersey. I still have a few of my most generous donors from years past who will most likely donate, so I am sure I'll raise at least some more money for the cause.
