Q is for Smokin' Bones BBQ

Big Q. Little Q. What begins with Q?

Nothing.

As I mentioned in P is for Public Offering Brewing Company, according to the Colorado Brewery Map & List we have no breweries in the Denver Area that start with "Q".

We don't even have any brewery left with the letter Q in it.

There is a brewery in Fort Collins that we could potentially use, but I don't want to make that trip just to mark a brewery off this list. Maybe we can use that in round 6.

But ... I decided to do something different for Q this time ....

Smokin' Bones BBQ is a food truck, and the only place I've seen it is at various local breweries. The couple of times I've had food from there I enjoyed it.

As luck would have it, the Smokin' Bones BBQ truck was at Golden's New Terrain Brewing Company on Monday.

From their website:
"Smokin' Bones BBQ is committed to Producing High Quality Food. It is our desire to share our experiences and growing our Brand in Denver, with a belief in achieving Quality over Quantity.

We started our Journey more than 15 years ago as a fundraiser for our Church Youth Group to go on a trip to Disney World! As the orders were filled, the request for our food started to grow. Soon enough, we could not keep up with the Demand. It was then we found a new dream and path to venture down.

Now "Our Dream has come to Life"! We now operate Smokin' Bones BBQ Food Truck, designed to reach the masses. Our plan is to keep it simple with Homemade Rubs, Sauces, Sides and Desserts all made with Love!"

We had the day off for Memorial Day, and it was a beautiful day, so the SheppyBrew Beer Model and I decided to hop on our bikes and head over for lunch.

To be honest, I didn't think the Beer Model would want to ride that far, but she surprised me.

We arrived just after noon, and ordered food from the BBQ food truck and beers from the Brewing Company.

Then we sat and ate and drank.

I had some Smoked Mac and Cheese with brisket meat in it.

The Beer Model had a brisket burger. Both meals were fantastic.

If you're interested to know what else they have ... you can check out their Food Truck Menu.

I've never had anything from this truck that I didn't thoroughly enjoy.

We had some of New Terrain's lighter beers with the food.

It was a wonderful day with great food and beer.

They do have a schedule on their Smokin' Bones BBQ home page, but honestly, it was literally just random luck that I looked at New Terrain's website seeing that Smokin' Bones BBQ would be there.

But, if you find yourself someplace that Smokin' Bones BBQ is also located, I completely endorse their food.

The ride home was beautiful as well.

What a great day it was in the Denver area.

And so ... although this wasn't really a brewery, we're moving on to "R".

The Colorado Brewery Map & List shows multiple "R" breweries, and more than a couple that we have not used in our A to Z series of posts.

Stay tuned on Sheppy's Blog: A to Z to see what we come up with.

As always, stay tuned on the regular SheppyBrew Channels to see what is happening with beer and other things: SheppyBrew's Facebook PageSheppy's Twitter FeedSheppyBrew's Instagram Page; and SheppyBrew's Website.

Go Rockies!
