If you're familiar with the concept behind this series and are fairly well acquainted to the English alphabet, you probably can deduce that next up we had to find a "Q" brewery.
I imagine that is doesn't surprise you that the Colorado Brewery List doesn't have any breweries that start with the letter "Q".
In round 1, I visited a Meadery, Q is for Queen Bee Brews.
In rounds 2 and 3, I took artistic license and hit Q is for LiQuid Mechanics Brewing Company and Q is for barQuentine Brewing Company.
It's my game ... I get to make up the rules. So ... what did we choose this time? When it came right down to it, there was only one choice ....
Q is for Six Capital Brewing and BBQ
We didn't realize before we arrived, but this building is the same one from P is for Peak to Peak Brewery.
Sad that Peak to Peak had to close, but I'm happy to see another brewery / BBQ joint took over the space.
The inside looks pretty similar ... other than the Six Capital Brewing logos etc taking over.
From their website:
Colorado Craft Beer, Chef Driven BBQ! Texas Born, Colorado Raised. We believe in brewing clean, classic beer styles, while adding in some unique twists along the way. We also have some exceptional and creative eats, incorporating diverse and seasonal flavors. Our philosophy is to use as many local and Colorado grown products, as well as highlight our other phenomenal Colorado breweries, distilleries, meads and ciders!
Sort of cool, they are right next door to a bike shop. Beer / BBQ / Bikes ... the 3 B's. What else could I ask for?
Check it out when you get a chance. Good food and Beer.
Next up ... we need visit an "R" brewery. Unlike "Q" ... there are tons of "R" breweries on the Colorado Brewery Map & List. I'm not sure which one we will pick for round 4.
It won't be R is for Ratio Beer Works, R is for Resolute Brewing Company Arvada Tap & Cellar, or R is for Raices Brewing Company.
Keep an eye on Sheppy's Blog: A to Z to see what we end up going to.
And ... as always stay tuned on the regular SheppyBrew Channels to see what is happening with biking, brewing, barbequing, and other things: SheppyBrew's Facebook Page; Sheppy's Twitter Feed; SheppyBrew's Instagram Page; and SheppyBrew's Website.Of course, don't forget to visit this blog often as well!
