9th Everest of 2021

I finished up my 1000 miles of the Great Cycle Challenge. I'm blown away by the generosity of everyone who donated. I blew away previous years' totals of donations.

And ... the page will remain open through the end of October. So ... if you wanted to donate, but have not had a chance yet, feel free to visit the page between now and November 1st ...

Along with the 1000 miles, I climbed around 42000 feet of elevation during the month.

This also means I passed up my 8th and 9th Everest in my #10Everestsin2021 goal.

Strava says I'm 32,000 feet ahead of pace on my the goal.

Not bad ... right? With winter coming, I will slow down in the coming months, but I think getting that last 29,032 should be fairly easy for me.

For what it is worth, my Strava goal for miles this year is 5000, and I passed that up in September as well.

Just a couple years ago, I never would have thought I'd be able to put up these kind of cycling numbers.

Feel free to keep watching me on the regular SheppyBrew Channels to see what is happening with beer and other things: SheppyBrew's Facebook Page; Sheppy's Twitter Feed; SheppyBrew's Instagram Page; and SheppyBrew's Website.
Of course, don't forget to visit this blog often as well!

Go Bears!
