This makes me feel old. Where did all the years go? As they say ... "The days are long. The years are short".
Anyway ... with my oldest son visiting to celebrate his little brother, I made my world-famous comfort food ...
I made it a little different than I ever had before. Usually, I use either bacon or sausage as the meat. This time I used both.
And ... the bacon was just laying on the top of the dish as opposed to having it mixed into the noodles and cheese mixture.
It turned out good, but for whatever reason, I don't think it turned out as good as usual.
We still all loved it, though, so it is all Guuud.
I've been drinking my Captain Serious Pilsner. It isn't crystal clear, yet, but it is close enough that I took a picture for the website Sunday.
It is an absolutely wonderful beer. I love the fruity hop flavor in a crisp clean pilsner.
And here is my graduate son with his 21-year-old brother.
