S is for Seedstock Brewing Company

Remember when in A to Z Denver Breweries Round 4, I wasn't sure if there would be a "Round 5"?

Shortly after that, I posted A is for AC Golden Tank Room to begin our Round 5.

That was about a year ago as I type this post.

Well ... obviously we have been actively continuing our A to Z Denver Breweries series of posts, and as you know if you follow along on this blog, just a couple of weeks ago, we checked "R" off the list with R is for Reverence Brewing Company.

Obviously, this means the letter "S" was up next and this past weekend we hit the S brewery ...

Big S. Little S. What begins with S?

S is for Seedstock Brewing Company

We packed a lunch and actually headed off to a nice morning hike up in the Colorado foothills. 

Then, we headed down to 3600 West Colfax Avenue, Denver, Colorado 80204 the the Seedstock tap room.

We've actually done a couple of brewery bike tours in this area. There are several more breweries in this area within a short bike ride loop.

X is for WestFaX Brewing Company / J is for JoyRide Brewing Company / H is for Hogshead Brewery / L is for Little Machine Beer / and a few others that are not on this blog (yet).

O is for Oasis Brewery used to be in this area too, but they have since closed.

Anyway, Seedstock is a nice little neighborhood brewery and taproom.

Their hours are: 

Mon - Th: 3 - 9pm

Fri: 3 - 10pm

Sat: Noon - 10pm

Sun: Noon - 8pm

They really have a bunch of great lagers, which is nice to see. I think they do a pretty good job keeping their on-line beer list up to date if you want to see what they have on tap when you read this.

We started out with a couple of 4-beer flights.

I think we got all the lagers, which I thought were all great. We also sampled a few "other" types of beer. I honestly didn't have any that I didn't like.

Even the Strawberry Rhubarb Cream Ale wasn't too bad.

My wife (aka the SheppyBrew Beer Model) packed a spectacular lunch, and we had fun eating and sampling beers in the tap room.

This is a great little neighborhood spot. Stop by if you find yourself in the Sloan's Lake / West Colfax area of Denver.

Now ... we need to figure out a "T" brewery.

If we remove breweries that start with "The", we don't really have a ton of Denver-area breweries that we have not already covered, but we'll come up with something.
