The peak of Mount Everest is 29,032 feet above sea level. 4 x 29,032 = 116,128. So, 118,625 feet is 4.02 Everests.
My goal in 2022 is to climb 10 Everests, 290,320 feet. Today, I'm ahead of "schedule" ... just barely.
As I mentioned in Catching up on #5000MilesIn2022 ... I'm on track with my mileage goal for 2022, and I probably will be ahead for the rest of the year.
My elevation goal is more aggressive than my mileage goal. I should be able to hit it, but I may fall behind on this goal over the next couple weeks. We'll see.
I expect I'll be over 5 Everests before the end of June, though.
I'll continue to ride.
Of course, I'm mentioning this in hopes that you will give a donation to my Great Cycle Challenge donation page.
I'm riding 1000 miles in September to raise money and awareness for Childhood Cancer Research.
Please donate if you can afford it.
