Riding in the November Cold

I cycled over 110 miles in the cold this weekend. Each day I started early in the morning with the temperatures close to 20F.

Had to rely on my winter "kit" to keep me warm, and even so, my fingers and toes got cold.

But, even so, the rides were fun.

I passed my #5000MilesIn2022 goal early in October, and am now working on completing the #10Everestsin2022 goal.

Sunday I got in another Metric Century to keep my #MetricCenturyEveryMonth goal alive.

According to Strava, I only need about 8000 feet to get to 29,032 for the year.

This past weekend, on Saturday I took my gravel bike from my house down to Waterton Canyon and back for 50ish miles.

On Sunday, I rode around South Denver over the Highland Canal and through Chatfield State Park for 63.89 miles (almost 103km).

I probably would not have ridden quite that far on Sunday if not for wanting to keep my #MetricCenturyEveryMonth steak going.

So, having that goal is probably good for me. Football didn't turn out well for me at all.

Anyway ... even though it is cold and I'm riding less, I should have no problem meeting all my cycling goals again in 2022.

As always stay tuned on the regular SheppyBrew Channels to see what is happening with biking, brewing, barbequing, and other things: SheppyBrew's Facebook PageSheppy's Twitter FeedSheppyBrew's Instagram Page; and SheppyBrew's Website.Of course, don't forget to visit this blog often as well!
