If you follow me at all on this blog or facebook or instagram .. you know that I've been participating in the Great Cycle Challenge all last month.
I've pledged to ride September to raise money and awareness for the Children's Cancer Research Fund.

I finished up the month on Saturday with a 100 miles on two rides, two separate bikes.
Yep, 100 miles.
That's right ... On my bicycle.
Yep, in one day.
No, my butt is fine.
Nope, I'm not crazy.
Yes, I know you don't like to drive that far.
Technically, it was only 99.65 miles, but in this case, I'm ok rounding this up to 100. It wasn't an easy 99.65 miles.
I started off early in the day with an "easy" 60 ride (see #GCCUSA2023 Ride #40).
Then I returned home to get the Pedego Owner (aka My Wife) and switch bikes for another (almost) 40 miles to visit a downtown brewery for lunch (see #GCCUSA2023 Ride #41).
So ... I finished off the month with 1139 and have raised just over $4500 for Childhood Cancer Research.
Both my miles and fundraising were down from last year, but not bad at all.
If you'd like to help out ... the donation page will be open at least until the end of October.
Of course, I'll be doing this again next year.
